Outside of tutoring, Ms. Basu is an International Debator with Model United Nations and an academic member of World Science Congress, a social services organization. Mr. Mbariko brings 10+ years of experience in private tutoring with his most recent stint at Varsity Tutors. He received his Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the Universite de Liege in Belgium & his Master in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University in New York City. Prior to teaching he worked at Coca-Cola as District Manager and the Gabkul Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to improving the education, health, and lives of vulnerable populations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He specializes in a range of math subjects from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus BC & has experience tutoring students in both SAT & ACT math.
