Testimonials

  • During my experience with Ottimmo, I had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Zara Westbrook, an exceptional language arts teacher with years of experience. She is an extremely effective tutor for the SAT/ACT exams as well as a mentor for students who are in the process of applying for college. Her passion and enthusiasm enabled me to assimilate brilliant ideas and to integrate them into my college essays. I enjoyed every class, and I would definitely recommend Ottimmo to other students seeking academic assistance.

  • In this class I was able to expand my vocabulary and clarify many literary concepts. I believe my writing, analysis and comprehension skills also developed.

  • Having Mrs. Westbrook’s assistance was very helpful, especially when I was preparing for the SAT. Prior to my attending Ottimmo, I was enrolled at an institute that was very impersonal. Getting special attention was difficult, and it required large sums of money. At Ottimmo, there were only three of us in a group; thus, it was much easier to learn the material, and it was much more engaging. Instead of having two or three classes a week, this was a once or twice a week class that was extremely focused, and the information that was needed was easily conveyed. Thanks to Ottimmo, my problems were addressed, and I was pleased with my SAT scores.

  • The test taking strategies and the videos about the vocab really helped. The videos are a great way to learn because I am more of a visual person.

  • The math was very helpful as well as the vocabulary.  Should have more one- on – one help with people who have low scores.

  • It taught me the format of the test, strategies to the reading and elements of the essay. I think what improved my score was the constant practice.
